Seems like everyone is talking about the many different ways to curb the problem of e-waste across the globe. What we need at the moment is an electronics recycler group or association of sorts that can guide the users and manufacturers alike on how to organize electronic waste handling and get rid of all this data whether hardware or software in the most environmentally friendly manner.

There are many developing countries across the globe that already face the problem of hardware and software data destruction and to add on to their troubles there is a lot that is being imported from overseas. This is making it difficult for the local recyclers there to handle the resultant amount of e waste.

These countries need to be educated on how to identify electronics that have almost run through their useful life cycle and prevent themselves from investing in or importing them. This could be a big step in solving the world wide ewaste data destruction issues that we are facing at the moment.
